Rev. Lawrence G. Lovasik. S.V.D. tells us that the Psalms can be called a school of Christian prayer.  They have great power to raise minds to God, to inspire devotion, to call forth gratitude in good times, and to bring consolation and strength in times of trial. Most of all, the Psalms leads us to Christ.
